In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication between our various applications and external systems.
You'll leverage your expertise in APIs and integrations to design, develop, and maintain efficient backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement robust backend integrations using APIs (e.g., REST APIs) with a focus on the .
NET framework (C#, ASP.NET)
Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements
Analyze and document technical specifications
Develop and maintain efficient and scalable backend systems using .
NET technologies
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
Automate backend processes to improve efficiency
Stay up-to-date on the latest .
NET technologies and best practices
Key Requirements
Eligible to work in New Zealand.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and other science related fields or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining backend integrations using APIs (e.g., REST APIs) with a focus on the .
NET framework (C#, ASP.NET)
Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and SQL
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Beneficial Skills / Experience
Experience with the AWS stack (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway) for building and deploying backend integrations
Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration tools like Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
Experience with DevOps principles and practices using tools like AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeDeploy
