As a Procurement Advisor - Special Projects, you will play a key role in shaping and embedding procurement best practice across Kāinga Ora.
This role is all about enabling improvement. You'll proactively identify opportunities to uplift procurement frameworks, policies, tools, and behaviours, ensuring they remain practical, consistent, and aligned to government requirements. You'll take ownership of reviewing and maintaining procurement policy, process documentation, templates, and guidance materials - and you'll work closely with procurement staff and leaders to make sure these resources support both day-to-day practice and longer-term capability growth.
You'll also be at the heart of change adoption, leading capability-building sessions, supporting communities of practice, and helping our people navigate new ways of working. Your work will help ensure that procurement at Kāinga Ora is confident, consistent, and ready to deliver public value at scale.
