WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
Rocket Lab's Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business.
This role involves setting up assembly kits for technicians to assemble Electron rockets, managing inventory, handling shipping, managing direct and indirect procurement, and inspecting and ensuring that all materials and products are compliant and up to standard.
The team links our operations and is critical to our rocket and satellite programs.
As a Logistics and Inventory Assistant you'll work with a variety of teams contributing to upcoming missions.
In our workshop, you'll engage with innovative divisions and observe rockets under development.
You will ensure stock (tools and parts) is available to enable the team to meet deadlines.
You will own your space to maintain satisfactory stock levels and ensure the team has what they need.
There is variety in the role and opportunities to learn and connect.
You will contribute to picking, packing and dispatching, ensuring items are securely checked and properly routed.
Some lifting and ad hoc duties are required.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL HAVE

Previous exposure in logistics and inventory
Previous experience in a similar role with high attention to detail
