Site Manager

The Bell Simpson Naschwitz Limited Partnership is seeking a motivated and organised Site Manager to join our team in Kaitaia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service station and delivering excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage all aspects of store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate purchasing activities while maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Conduct frequent stock audits to confirm adequate supply.
• Place orders with current suppliers and identify opportunities with new vendors.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and promotional offers to maximize value.
• Design and execute merchandising plans and in-store promotional campaigns.
• Establish product pricing and implement specials to achieve gross profit targets.
• Introduce and promote new product lines to boost sales and business growth.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, performance appraisals, and staff terminations when required.
• Oversee the store's budgeting process and manage financial planning.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve product-related issues promptly.
• Review returned goods and determine suitable next steps.
• Maintain accurate product pricing and ensure profitability controls are in place.
• Manage daily banking transactions and administer store accounts.
• Support the team in achieving business objectives and operational tasks.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff.
• Encourage and motivate employees through recognition and incentives.
• Ensure full compliance with workplace Health & Safety standards.The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $30 to $34 per hour.Other important requirements :
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or at least a Level 6 qualification.
• Flexible to work weekends and late evenings if required.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
