We're hiring an AI Engineer to help us build and scale the agentic systems that power customer experiences and internal automation.

You'll work with the CTO and core engineering team to : Build and maintain real-time and batch pipelines for LLM-based document extraction and structured data generationDevelop and refine multi-agent systems using LangGraph, enabling intelligent, stateful workflowsFine-tune and evaluate small and medium open-source models (e.g. LLaMA 7B) for domain-specific tasksIntegrate vector stores (like Pinecone or Elasticsearch) into Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelinesInstrument and monitor AI systems with LangFuse and custom observability pipelinesBuild and evolve intelligent agents that drive decision-making and operational workflows, leveraging our event-driven architecture and real-world data streamsContinuously test, evaluate, and improve model output and quality with real dataYou'll Thrive Here IfYou've built systems around LLMs, especially involving tool use, memory, or multi-step orchestrationYou've worked with frameworks like LangGraph, Pydantic AI, or LangChain (or can ramp up quickly)You've implemented fine-tuning workflows, prompt optimisation, or eval frameworks to improve model performanceYou're comfortable working with embeddings, RAG pipelines, and unstructured dataYou think like an engineer first; writing clean, testable Python code and deploying to production in cloud environments (we use AWS)You've worked with or are keen to work with tools like Lambda, S3, Fargate, or SageMakerYou value observability and know how to measure model quality, latency, and usageWhat You'll Get working at TapiA crew that's kind, smart, and genuinely fun to work withA chance to shape the future of AI at one of ANZ's fastest-growing PropTech companiesReal ownership of real AI systems in productionFull visibility into what your work is powering (and the metrics to prove it)
