  • Provide academic leadership and support to teaching kaimahi to ensure excellence in programme delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager on planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Support learner success through mentoring, learning plans, and engagement initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with iwi, hapū, and health sector partners to enhance community relevance.
  • Contribute to programme development and innovation in nursing education.

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in tertiary education. A good understanding of tikanga and Mātauranga Māori, and how these inform educational practice, would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead academic quality, support others, and drive improvement.
  • Specifically, you will be a high-performing professional with a talent for supporting people and systems, demonstrating strong team leadership, and embodying the organisation’s values and leadership principles.
