Food Tuck Store Manager

Busy Indian Street Food Truck in Auckland requires a Manager.

The Manager ensures that food truck operates efficiently and profitably.

The role is responsible for the business performance of the truck, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.

Responsibilities will include :

Taking responsibility for the business performance of the food truckAnalysing and planning the trucks sales levels and profitabilityOrganising local marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemesPreparing reports at the end of the shift and week, including staff control, food control and salesCreating and executing plans for sales, profit and staff developmentCoordinating the entire operation of the food truck during scheduled shiftsManaging staff and providing them with feedbackResponding to customer complaintsRecruiting, training and motivating staffMaintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safetyChecking stock levels and ordering supplies

Negotiating with suppliers

Planning menus, introduce new menu itemsCash handling

Make sure the truck is cleaned daily at the end of shift

Solve business or staff problems as and when required

Qualifications / experience required

Diploma or above in business or management

At least 1 years' experience in retail and / or hospitality

At least 1 years' experience as a supervisor
