We're seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to join our Corporate Services Domain within BNZ Technology.

What are some day-to-day tasks you will complete?

Build and deploy frameworks and CI / CD pipelines based on detailed designs.

Coordinate with BAs, Architects and Leads to ensure Solution documentation remains accurate and aligned with Implementation.

Manage and optimise integration workflows between critical upstream and downstream systems to ensure data continuity and operational efficiency.

Take responsibility for on-call participation and production support within your domain.

Provide technical support for Platform lifecycles, including planning and executing upgrades, patching and continuous platform enhancements.

Manage and implement configuration changes for specialised Finance, wealth and Procurement applications.

Manage and remediate Application and Server vulnerabilities.

Champion high standards for quality, performance, and security.

Build strong relationships across disciplines.

Influence technical direction through clear communication, structured thinking, and constructive challenge.

Provide technical mentorship and support the growth of others through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain up-to-date documentation.

A results-driven position responsible for prioritising simultaneous demands across project initiatives, security vulnerabilities, and production needs.

A key focus is driving organisational change and championing best practices within a complex, rapidly evolving environment, requiring strong influencing skills and cross-functional coordination.

What technical skills and attributes are required for this role?

Experience with Spring Boot framework.

Hands-on experience deploying, managing, implementing, and optimising cloud solutions within AWS.

Any relevant experience with Azure is advantageous.

Good understanding of Kubernetes.

Proven ability to automate processes using Bash and Python.

Experience working with CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or similar.

Vulnerability management of application and servers.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams, contributing to a culture of clarity, inclusion, and trust.

Commitment to growing others through mentoring, pairing, and sharing knowledge with the wider engineering community.
