Christmas Gift Wrapping Fundraiser

From Thursday 4th to Sunday 21st December, join us at Chartwell Shopping Centre to help wrap presents and raise funds for Plunket.

As a gift wrapping volunteer, you’ll have a hands-on role chatting with shoppers, wrapping gifts, and getting into the festive spirit—all while supporting Plunket’s Community Services Team as they provide parent groups and care for Waikato’s littlest Kiwis.

Requirements :

• Be friendly, approachable, and happy to chat with shoppers while you wrap.
• No gift-wrapping experience needed—we’ll provide guidance and training.
• Able to work independently and stay engaged during busy periods.
• Comfortable standing and moving around for 3–4 hours per shift.
• Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
• Follow any safety or hygiene guidelines provided on the day.

Time commitment :

Each shift is 3 hours, you can pick the times that suit you best :

Thursday 4th December – Wednesday 17th December

Thursday 18th December – 21st December

You can take a single shift or a few—whatever works for your schedule. We’ll provide the stand and all the supplies; all you need is a friendly attitude, and some festive cheer.
