Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is recruiting Anaesthesia Registrars across the country. With roles in both tertiary centres and regional hospitals, you’ll gain broad exposure, structured supervision, and experience that sets you up for a successful career.
About the role
Anaesthesia Registrars provide supervised perioperative care across surgical theatres, ICUs, maternity services, and acute pain management teams. Depending on your stage of training, you’ll rotate through general, paediatric, trauma, obstetric, and regional anaesthesia placements.

You’ll need a minimum of two years’ post-graduate clinical experience and be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
