It's an exciting time to join the Social Investment Agency as we lead change across the public service to implement social investment and support Government to achieve better outcomes from social sector spending.

As the Director Data, Evidence and Insights, you will lead a talented team encompassing Business Partners, Data Products, and Evidence and Insights Services.

You will drive the strategic direction and operational excellence of the group, supporting SIA and partner agencies through evidence-based insights that inform policy and service delivery.

You'll collaborate closely with senior leaders to develop transformational strategies, manage budgets, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful data products and services.

You will also champion the reputation of SIA as a centre of excellence in data and research across the social sector.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead and inspire teams delivering data, evidence, and insights services.

Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with SIA's objectives.

Drive transformational initiatives and support change leadership.

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across government, philanthropy, corporates, and NGOs.

Ensure effective governance, risk management, and data quality compliance.

Promote SIA's brand and commercial opportunities within the sector.

Coach and develop your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Relevant tertiary qualification.

Extensive leadership experience in data, evidence, and insights within the public or comparable sectors.

Strong strategic, operational, and people management skills.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

Proven ability to manage risk and adapt to complex, changing environments.

A leadership style that is engaging, courageous, resilient, and inclusive.

Band 21 - $201,025 - $236,500 - Salaries are negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
