Responsibilities
Hydraulic modelling of potable water networks and associated planning studies
Data analysis and manipulation
Model build, calibration and validation
Options analysis of water supply with assessment of existing problems and recommended solutions and / or upgrades
Develop concept designs
Preparation of comprehensive reports
About you / Qualifications
Background : Relevant university degree in Civil Engineering, with 5+ years of hands-on experience in the industry or consulting.
Industry Knowledge : Solid understanding of design standards and guidelines, ensuring projects meet regulatory and quality benchmarks.
Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, to support project documentation and analysis.
Technical Proficiency : Practical experience with hydraulic modeling tools such as Infoworks WS Pro; familiarity with other hydraulic simulation software; working knowledge of GIS.
Communication : Clear and confident verbal and written communication to collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Teamwork : Collaborative mindset, willingness to share knowledge and problem-solve as a team.
Efficiency : Organized and able to multitask across multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Proactivity and Innovation : Take initiative and ownership of projects, proactively addressing challenges and seeking innovative solutions.
Adaptability : Self-motivated, energetic, and flexible to changing project needs and industry developments.
