Responsibilities
Assisting with personal cares (showering, bathing)
Assisting with household management and meal preparation
Supporting exercise programmes
Assisting with accessing the community
Bowel, Bladder, and Catheter care
Moving and handling hoists and manual transfers
Medication support

Employment Type
Part-Time (Up to 29 Hours)
We offer a range of employment opportunities including casual and part-time positions, which will be discussed further during the recruitment process.
Days of Work
As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including am, pm and weekend work.
Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.
The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.
About You
You are a calm but confident-natured individual who can demonstrate resilience and understand the challenges of our service users.
It is rewarding when you are part of the support that enables a person to live their best lives in the community.
Candidate Pre-Requisites
Previous experience in healthcare would be an added advantage and those looking to enter the healthcare sector will also be considered (comprehensive training can be provided).
Access to your own car and ability to drive independently (a Full New Zealand Driver\'s Licence is a must)
Flexibility to travel
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
Legal right to work in New Zealand is a must.
