Matamata : Experienced support worker required, preferably living locally and having connections to the community.

Permanent full-time position, including weekends and sleepovers, with the requirement to work alternate weekends.Earn while you learn and gain nationally recognized qualifications.Mo te tunga | About the roleIDEA Services supports people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy great lives at home and in their community.

As a Support Worker, you will support clients with complex needs, manage risk, ensure safety, and provide individual care throughout the night.

Previous experience in the disability sector or aged care is preferred.Nga pumanawatanga ou | What you will bringPrevious experience in caregiving or providing personal care for adults.A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviors.Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts.Proficiency in using computers and tablets daily.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.Full NZ driver's license.Nou te rourou | What's in it for you?
