Our Community Facilitators (support workers) who work alongside our partners are the cornerstone of our organisation.
A Community Facilitator works alongside our disabled partners to enable good lives, drive normal outcomes and to encourage our partners to achieve their dreams!
The Role may include but is not limited to
Supporting our disabled partners to achieve their goals
Helping partners maintain a high standard of living in their own homes
Providing personal cares
Encouraging our disabled partners to actively engage within our communities
Administering medication and providing support to and from appointments
Being encouraging and supportive of life skills, such as budgeting and pursuing employment opportunities and / or undertaking study
Building and maintaining supportive, fun, exciting and healthy relationships with some truly amazing individuals!
A great Community Facilitator is innovative in providing support to our Disabled Partners and provides a positive influence in their lives.
The ability to build genuine relationships and move forward with our disabled partners' aspirations will be key to your success in this role.
A Community Facilitator whowants to empower our partners, be healthy and fit, and be open to becoming a permanent employee if they prove to be a good fit for the role.

Our Recruitment Process
If your application is of interest, we will be in contact via phone for an initial conversation.
You may be then asked to come in for a face-to-face interview with the hiring Team Leader and the People and Culture Advisor.
You are welcome to bring a support person of course.
Our Disabled Partners will be included in the recruitment process and selection.
This may mean they are part of the interview, or, an observation with those you may potentially partner with may be arranged.
Police vetting and Waka Kotahi drivers checks are mandatory for those who apply to work with ConneXu
Once these steps are completed with the preferred candidates, we will contact the final shortlist with an outcome of their application.
