We're looking for a talented Adviser, Communications to help shape how the FMA connects with our audiences.
You'll create clear, engaging content for our website, publications and podcasts, to help our regulated audiences understand their responsibilities and the outcomes we want to see for markets and consumers.
You'll also manage the planning, production, approval, and delivery of FMA's newsletters, our core communications channel, ensuring everything we share is timely, accurate, and on-brand.
Key responsibilities
Craft and review content that brings the FMA's work to life for our audiences.
Lead end-to-end newsletter production – planning, editing, coordinating, and analysing performance to continually improve engagement.
Keep our website fresh and relevant through regular reviews and updates.
Support the Principal Adviser, Publications with editing and proofreading of key materials for clarity and consistency.
Uphold our editorial standards, brand voice, and style guidelines across all communications.
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team that lives our values every day.
You'll bring
Proven writing and editing expertise across digital and print.
A sharp eye for detail and a passion for plain language.
Experience producing content for websites, newsletters, and publications.
Strong attention to detail and skill in managing multiple deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Word, with bonus points for experience in InDesign and the wider Adobe Creative Suite, and Campaign Monitor.
A proactive, adaptable approach and experience in journalism, editorial, or communications roles.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
