- About the Role
- This new permanent part-time role has been established in alignment with a national initiative to strengthen Allied Health involvement in intensive Care Units.
As the Occupational Therapist working within our ICU at Tauranga Hospital, you will support a broad range of patients, including those recovering from traumatic brain injury, stroke, frailty, and other acute medical conditions.Working 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) across a Monday – Sunday roster (weekend cover will be considered), you will be based in a high-acuity environment and supported by the Occupational Therapy Team Lead.
You will also collaborate with Allied Health clinical Leads and senior medical and nursing staff to deliver timely, patient-focused care that enhances outcomes and supports safe transition planning.
