About the role

We have an exciting permanent, fulltime position for a Paediatric Core Clinical Dietitian.

In this role, you will be expected to provide optimal nutritional care for babies, children and adolescent inpatients at Starship.

About the team

This role is part of our dedicated team of 22 paediatric dietitians co-located with the Auckland City Hospital team of dietitians.

Our team, which is part of Starship Allied Health, is driven by providing a high-quality clinical service across New Zealand, based at Starship Child Health.

About you

We are seeking someone with the following attributes :

You will be a New Zealand registered dietitian and have a current Annual Practising CertificateAt least 2 years of post-graduate experience in paediatric dieteticsPrevious experience in diabetes technology, carb counting and paediatric oncologyIt is essential that you have :

A proven record as an excellent team workerAn understanding of health care in New ZealandGood time managementComputer literacy in Microsoft Office and clinical applicationsFor all aspects of this role and experience / knowledge required please see the position description.
