About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced New Zealand Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic, supportive, and self-motivated outpatient team as a Practice Supervisor.
This is a permanent fulltime role with 1.0fte / 40 hours per week.
This role is based at Auckland City Hospital.
Youll be part of the Clinical Support Services Dietetic team, which consists of 7.55 FTE dietitians, based at Auckland City Hospital.
Clinical Leadership & Oversight : Provide expert guidance and leadership to the outpatient dietitiansMentoring & Staff Development : Support and develop team members, students, and junior practitioners through supervision and education.Caseload Management : Maintain an outpatient clinical caseload and assist with complex cases.Quality Improvement : Drive evidence-based practice, service development, and quality initiatives.Operational Coordination : Manage day-to-day team activities and workloads for efficient service delivery.Collaboration : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.Governance & Standards : Contribute to professional governance and implement best practice processes and policies.About the Team / Service / Location
Our team is made up of passionate and supportive dietitians who are dedicated to advocating for our patients and enhancing nutrition-related outcomes within our community.
We consist of 26.7 FTEs, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

About you
As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes :
New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate A minimum of seven years post-graduate and experience working in the outpatient settingStrong leadership and mentoring skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.Be a great connector of people and ideasAn understanding of bicultural issues and commitment to the Treaty of WaitangiAbility to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary settingEffective time management, flexibility, prioritisation and organisation skillsDrive, energy and initiative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Full, clean NZ Drivers LicenseClick here to view the position description
