DESIGNATION : Producer, Chinese Growth

RESPONSIBILITIES

Package breaking news, daily updates, and special reports into short-form videos and social graphics for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Telegram

Conceptualise, build data driven content, create news explainers and highlight videos to help audiences understand key issues

Curate each social media channel (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram) to maintain a consistent editorial voice, optimize platform-specific strategies, and develop new IPs (series, franchises, or formats) to deepen audience engagement

Monitor platform trends and adapt content formats to strengthen reach and engagement

Support large-scale news events such as General Election, National Day Parade, National Day Rally etc with timely and impactful social coverage

Collaborate with editors, reporters, and video teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in digital news storytelling

Work under tight deadlines to publish content quickly and accurately

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree / Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, or related field preferred

Minimum 2 years' experience in social media production, digital journalism, or video editing

Portfolio of social media / news content samples will be an advantage

Experience in handling breaking news or fast-turnaround content preferred
