Senior.Net Developer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our locally-owned and operated company in Wellington. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining, developing, and testing new and existing software applications across the product portfolios.As a Senior Developer, you'll use your people management experience to guide and mentor your team members. You will contribute to or design technical solutions, manage workloads, and ensure the quality of code meets the standards.

Skills & Experience

• Senior Developer level experience gained within New Zealand
• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise software development with .NET stack
• An object-oriented design and development background
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Exp in integration with REST APIs, distributed systems and microservices
• Knowledge of agile methodologies in particular scrum
• Previous exp in the finance sector desirable
• Working knowledge of event driven design patterns
• This role will suit someone who is creative and able to identify problems in a product or platform and leave things better than they found them.
