Test Analyst – Automation Selenium (additional Playwright skills)

Responsibilities and Scope

Define test strategies and plans based on project requirements.

Lead test execution and defect management.

Implement and maintain an automation framework using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Playwright, and related tools.

Mentor and guide team members, contributing solutions and approaches for QA proposals.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of experience in Information Technology.

Strong experience in UI, API automation using Selenium (Java) and Playwright with Rest Assured and Postman.

Proficiency in building reusable automation frameworks.

Experience in API automation testing and BDD / TDD with Cucumber, Serenity, Playwright-BDD.

Knowledge of scripting / development in Java, J2EE, PL / SQL, Perl, Shell, Python.

Experience with code coverage tools (Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar) and build automation tools (Maven, Gradle).

Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and source control (GitHub, Bitbucket).

Experience with project management tools (JIRA, ALM, Rally).

Ability to lead a distributed automation testing team and manage stakeholder relationships.

Nice to Have

Exposure to RPA, analytics-driven testing, AI / ML in QA.

Experience with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Mobile automation experience with UFT Mobile or similar tools.

Preferred

Cloud migration testing experience with AWS or Azure.

Additional Skills
