In the role of Technical Test Lead you will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements. This will involve leading test execution and defect management. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc. You should be a good mentor and guide to team members and contribute to creating solutions and approaches for QA proposals for our customers.

Location – New Zealand, Australia. Salary Range – AUD $101,232 - $102,031 Annual Gross.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile meetings during each iteration to understand user stories and create a robust set of automatable test cases.
• Design, develop, automate and execute tests to validate solutions and environments.
• Identify, report, and manage defects in the defect tracking system.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand changes and their impact on tests.
• Work with manual testers to identify components that are automatable.
• Identify, create and regularly maintain automated regression suites.
• Continuously collaborate with the agile team including developers, business analysts and product owners throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide feedback to the development team to ensure solutions are testable.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
