Team Leader (Night-shift)
Foodstuffs North Island Limited is looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join our distributed warehouse team.
This position is paid on a co-op basis and provides the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our operations.

Role Overview
As a Team Leader you will drive safety and operational excellence within the DC Operations team.
You will champion team engagement, support daily operations and foster a high-performing culture.
Support and uphold the Journey to Zero safety objectives, ensuring safety is embedded in all team activities.
Plan and coordinate daily operations in collaboration with your manager.
Lead team communication through regular meetings and one-on-one catch-ups.
Support team development and performance through coaching and growth opportunities.
Take a hands-on approach to leadership, actively working alongside your team.
Manage performance and disciplinary matters effectively.
Working hours are Sunday to Thursday 10 : 00pm to 6 : 30am.

Have working experience in a DC environment and in a leadership role.
Have a can-do attitude with an infectious energy to motivate your team.
Be prepared to lead and go above and beyond for your team and colleagues.
Be highly engaged, a self-starter with a passion for continuous improvement.
Have the ability to be trusted to lead while making the best-informed decisions for both the business and your own wellbeing.
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
