The Civil Carpenter will be responsible for performing site construction and kerb extrusion activities as directed by the supervisor, working collaboratively with other field personnel to complete projects safely, on time, and within budget. This includes constructing, erecting, installing, pouring, and repairing structures to the highest quality standards, while consistently applying Zero Harm principles and ensuring all safety systems and strategies are implemented and monitored.
Minimum skills requirements Experience, Educations & Qualifications :
Level 4 qualification (trade certificate, diploma), OR at least 3 years of relevant experience can replace a formal qualification if no qualificationFormal qualification is desired but can be replaced by suitable work experienceCore skills beneficial for the role :
Previous civil carpentry experienceMust be willing to travel as the role is predominantly based in Dunedin, travel will be required across Otago and SouthlandExperienced extruding kerb channel advantageousExperienced completing concrete bridge repairsWorking at Height trainingMEWP trainingExperienced working in / under Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) conditionsExperience in self-compacting concrete, formwork and placementAppropriate Driver Licence Classes for roleKey attributes that are beneficial for the role :
