The Market Services group supports real-time delivery of the System Operator service, provides market response information, procures specialist market products, engages stakeholders, and contributes to market development and strategy.

This is a great opportunity to join us and work in either the Wellington or Hamilton office, in a complex, stimulating environment that provides a unique and essential service to Aotearoa New Zealand. You will be part of the team that ensures the electricity system keeps the lights on for homes, businesses and communities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the modelling, analysis and future development of the electricity market.
• Inform policy, forecast electricity supply, and investigate system changes that enable new technology deployment.
• Communicate insights to colleagues, senior staff and external stakeholders, enabling informed decision making.
• Prioritise work across projects, demonstrating agility, flexibility and resilience in fluid situations.
