Traffic Management Plan ( TMP ) Designer

We are looking for a Traffic Management industry experienced detail-oriented TMP Planner to become the technical heart of our Palmerston North branch collaborating with our TTM Operations team to create and deliver safe and effective traffic management solutions to our clients.

As our new TMP Planner , you will be the expert mind behind our on-road operations.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and prepare high-quality, compliant Temporary Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) that ensure the safety of our crews, clients and the public.

This is a critical, high-impact role where your precision and expertise directly contribute to our award-winning safety record.

What You'll Be Responsible For :

Design & Compliance : Create practical and safe TMPs that are fully compliant with NZGTTM and all local RCA requirements.

Collaboration : Work closely with clients, RCAs, and our internal operations teams to ensure every plan is effective and fit-for-purpose.

Project Management : Expertly manage your workload to prioritise requests, meet critical submission deadlines, and secure timely approvals.

Safety Integration : Embed risk-based controls and health and safety requirements into every design, championing our "everyone home safe" value.

To be successful in this role, you will have :

Proven experience in Temporary Traffic Management with a deep understanding of the NZGTTM.

A valid TMP design qualification and competency.

Knowledge of Rapid Plan is a significant advantage.

Excellent communication skills and a strong client-focused approach.

The ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
