As a Resource Consents Planner,you'll play a vital role in processing land use and subdivision resource consentapplications, ensuring decisions are clear and consistent.
You'll provideprofessional advice to applicants, the public, and internal teams, andcontribute to the ongoing improvement of our processes and systems.
Although no two days are the samein this diverse role, your key responsibilities will include :
Reviewing resource consent applications underthe Resource Management Act and other relevant legislation
Undertaking site visits, preparing assessmentsand making decisions
Liaising with applicants, the public, andinternal stakeholders to provide expert advice and facilitate solutions
We're searching for someone whobrings both expertise and integrity to their work.
You'll have a recognised Bachelor'sdegree in Resource Management Planning or similar and hold membership with theNZ Planning Institute (or be eligible for membership).
Your technicalcompetence should be complemented by your ability to communicate clearly - whetheryou're writing reports, presenting to committees, or liaising with applicantsand the public.
You'll thrive workingcollaboratively within a team and have the confidence in your accuracy andattention to detail to make decisions that stand up to scrutiny.
You'recomfortable navigating complex situations and solving problems.
