Known for their client focus and long-term relationships, Northington Partners provides the full spectrum of investment banking and corporate finance advisory services.The Opportunity – Analyst / AssociateAs an Analyst / Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of transactions (both client-driven and direct investment) and strategic advisory projects.
Working in a close-knit and highly collaborative team, your workload will vary and fluctuate depending on the pipeline of work, offering exposure to a broad range of mandates and companies.Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeFinancial Analysis & Modelling – Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation, M&A, and capital-raise processes; conduct scenario, sensitivity, and in-depth financial analysis.Transaction Services & Deal Advisory – Assist with buy-side and sell-side due diligence; assist in drafting information memorandums and management presentations.Private equity investment and portfolio management – Origination, screening, and due diligence of private equity investments; preparation of investment committee memos and support in IC presentations and decision-making; active investment portfolio management, including performance reporting and value creation initiatives; fund administration and investor reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.Research & Market Analysis – Conduct industry, market, and company research; monitor market trends, industry news, and market developments.Pitchbook & Presentation Support – Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and marketing documents.Client Support & Interaction – Participate in client meetings and presentations; draft materials for client updates, proposals, and pitches.Skills And Experience2–3 years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance, professional services, or a related advisory role.A high level of proficiency in Excel, including advanced financial modelling skills.A sound understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a tight-knit team.What's in it for you?
