Agile Squad Lead / Project Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Agile Squad Lead / Project Manager to lead high-performing Agile squads and deliver impactful software development projects, all aligned with Theta’s proven delivery standards and methodology. This role blends hands-on project management with Agile leadership and coaching—perfect for someone who thrives on variety and challenges.

Based in Auckland, you’ll work closely with our diverse customers, Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Your passion for adaptability, continuous improvement, and delivering real business value will shine as you drive momentum, inspire teams, and lead fast-paced technology projects that make a real impact.

What You Will Do

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach the squads and Product Owner in Agile practices
• Maintain delivery visibility using Agile tools and metrics
• Manage daily project operations, schedules, risks, issues, and changes
• Assign project resources, budgets, and profitability and keep documentation up to date
• Review Statements of Work and proposals
