Responsibilities

• Support the Building Services management team in actively promoting WSP capability where opportunities exist, with the aim of creating and extending income streams for the wider WSP team.
• Identify market opportunities and undertake marketing initiatives to develop new and existing business markets and promote WSP services to internal and external clients.
• Lead preparation of bids and proposals.
• Complete project profiles to support future work winning opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining capability statements to assist with future work winning opportunities.
• Demonstrate and maintain technical expertise and knowledge over all aspects of Building Services, with particular emphasis on Mechanical and Hydraulics engineering, including standards, legislation and codes of practice.
• Lead specialist technical input into project planning and assist others to define project scope, provide technical input and lead technical verification activities.
• Act as a Project Manager or Project Director as required on assigned projects.
• Develop a complete scope definition, identify changes to scope and implement actions to meet project objectives, and communicate these to the project team.
• Communicate critical project information (briefs, deadlines, progress and client feedback) effectively and timely.
• Ensure project-related quality assurance processes are carried out cost-effectively, including technical reviews and verifications, and approvals to release.
• Complete monthly financial management processes in a timely manner, including billing, monthly financial and progress reports, change management and monitoring project spend.
