Your RoleHere's what you will be doing : Perform a range of duties related to pre transfusion, antenatal and diagnostic testingIssue blood and blood products for clinical purposesWork within a well-established team of Scientists and Technicians committed to quality service and patient wellbeingRespond immediately in emergency situations for patients in needAbout YouThe company is looking for : Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ, or actively completing intern requirements for full registration with NZMLSBExperience in transfusion science or a related disciplineExperience working in a Blood Bank preferred but not essentialFlexibility to fully participate in a 24-hour, 7-day per week rosterEffective interpersonal and communication skillsPositive attitude, self-motivation, and ability to take responsibilityAbility to multi-task, work collaboratively, and respond quickly in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsBase salary between $71,070 and $107,600 depending on skills, experience, and registrationThis job may close before the stated closing date; you are encouraged to apply as soon as possibleReport this job
