Electrical Engineer – Protection & Control (PAC)About the RoleWe're looking for an Electrical Engineer with hands-on Protection & Control (PAC) experience to help grow SecuControl's presence in North America.
You'll combine deep technical know-how (relay testing, field commissioning) with a proactive sales mindset : hunting new opportunities, building relationships, and promoting our test interfaces directly with end users or through channel partners.This full-time role reports to the Director of the US office and is based in our Alexandria, VA office (with frequent travel).
Key Responsibilities1.
Technical Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new sales opportunities within utilities, generation companies, PUDs, and switchgear / cabinet manufacturersLeverage your professional network to generate leads and set up technical evaluationsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with final customers and partnersPrepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demos, and proposalsRepresent SecuControl at trade shows, conferences, and customer training events2.
Protection & Control EngineeringCollaborate with customers on solution designs, integrating SecuControl test interfaces into their protection & control workflowsCollect and synthesize feedback from customer field reports to inform product refinements and application best practicesProvide application feedback to R&D teams in Germany and Brazil; contribute to continuous product improvementDevelop and update application notes, wiring diagrams, and test plans3.
