We're seeking a compassionate community connector to work with students experiencing chronic absence and their whānau. You'll build relationships, understand barriers to attendance, and create practical solutions that help young people re-engage with school.
This is hands-on work-home visits, one-to-one support, connecting families with resources, and collaborating with pastoral care teams to make a real difference.
Part time - 16 hours per week, term-time only, Fixed-term for 2 school years
Start date - 21 January 2026

This role is subject to a clean police vet as required under the New Zealand Children's Act. Only applicants with New Zealand working rights will be considered.
Pay rate will be as per the Support Staff in Schools' Collective Agreement at the Teacher Aide Salary Scale Grade D1 $33.23 per hour.
