Scientist II (Inflammation and Immunology (I&I) Discovery), EDDC

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our I&I discovery group. The ideal candidate should have a good grasp of concepts in immunology, molecular biology, and translational research. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team working on the discovery of novel therapeutics and engaging in preclinical drug development from target exploration to drug candidate selection within the I&I therapeutic space.

Role and responsibilities :

• Develop experimental protocols and perform mammalian cell culture, biochemical, biophysical and cellular assays such as Western blotting, flow cytometry, thermal shift assays, plate-based assays involving fluorescence or luminescence for target validation and functional characterization of small / large molecule therapeutics.
• Support laboratory housekeeping, safety check, SOP writing and other administrative or compliance-related processes.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical support to ongoing projects. Participate in lab meetings and contribute to the preparation of materials for presentations and reports.
• Analyze and present experimental data in a clear and concise manner, demonstrating a good understanding of its utilization and implications in the context of drug discovery.
