The opportunity – Corporate Finance Analyst

Reporting to the Head of Analytics and Investor Relations, this newly created position plays a key role in supporting strategic decision making. You will be responsible for financial modelling, market analysis and corporate planning. Your remit will include maintaining and enhancing the corporate financial model, business planning, transactions support and preparing materials for executive leadership, investor communications, and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the corporate financial model
• Assist in the preparation of earnings forecasts, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into performance against budget
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, long-term business plans, and the evaluation of strategic initiatives
• Forecast capital funding requirements, liquidity and covenant compliance
• Assist with the preparation of investor presentations for CEO, Deputy CEO and CFO
• Preparation of NZX market announcements and disclosures
• Peer benchmarking and market intelligence
• Assist in the preparation of the annual business plan document, the annual report, Board reports, quarterly reports and other ad hoc papers
