Position Title : Maintenance Technician Lead

Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience with general maintenance mechanic duties (three must be with commercial equipment) are required.
Successful completion of high school or trade school is required.
Journeyman license (electrician, plumber, or HVAC) or equivalent.
Specific electrical requirement : a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years knowledge in 208-volt / 3-phase motor controls, switches, and motor starters; familiar with NEC.
Valid Real ID driver's license or a valid driver's license and a valid passport, and ability to operate a GSA vehicle are required.
Meet all Agency Check and Inquiries requirements and pass security and background checks.
Be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending and lifting objects up to 50 pounds, performing maintenance work on ladders up to 24 feet, and working in environmental temperatures ranging -10 degrees F to +90 degrees F.
Ability to access and perform limited work within confined space areas as needed.
Specific to the Milford, CT and Sandy Hook, NJ facility location.
Duties
Shall include all requirements identified in Tasks 1 and 2.
Shall distribute and assign task work assignments in coordination with Facility Manager to include coordinating schedules and mission operations to other maintenance mechanics.
Report on ongoing facility construction and operation work and assist with tracking budget expenditures.
Work closely with the NEFSC leadership to include Facility Manager, Safety and Environmental Compliance Officer (SECO), and Science Center Officer in charge.
Perform analysis on required maintenance, emergency repairs, and general work requirements.
Coordinate and oversee contract vendors performing new and recurring services at the facility to include but not limited to : elevator maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, pest control, security systems, fire prevention and protection systems, engine generator, electrical and HVAC service providers.
Coordinate with the GSA Point Of Contact (POC) for Government vehicles.
Ability to assist and develop statement of work documents and job estimates.
