Overview

Senior Risk Advisor / Risk Team Leader — Full-time or Part-time, 3-Month Contract, $50 p / hour + super (negotiable). Remote – Regional Western Victoria. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Risk Advisor or Risk Team Leader to support our client, a progressive local council in regional Western Victoria. This contract role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the organisation’s risk management framework while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advocacy and implementation of best practice risk management across the organisation
• Review and evaluate the current Risk Management Strategy and develop an updated version
• Review Strategic and Operational Risk Registers and update key policies and frameworks
• Design a Risk Management training framework and deliver capability programs
• Provide leadership and guidance to a small, dedicated team
