We are looking for a Senior Adviser Risk to join our Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Insurance team. This team provides expert advice, guidance and support to help the business manage enterprise risk and compliance and minimise financial losses through insurance.

The successful candidate will help shape risk strategies, embed compliance across operations, and foster a proactive risk culture. This role involves collaboration with specialist risk practitioners and internal teams to ensure timely and relevant risk information.
It’s ideal for a current Senior Risk Advisor wanting to move into enterprise-level risk or an experienced advisor ready to step up. A background in assurance, risk, or compliance will support success in this role, which offers strong professional growth and impact.
The position reports to the Head of Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Insurance within MBIE’s Strategy and Assurance Group.
