Financial Systems & Reporting Accountant

About The RoleIn this role, you'll provide efficient and effective financial management, reporting, and advice while driving continuous improvement in finance systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.

You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely month-end results, insightful reporting, and the smooth operation and optimisation of TechnologyOne (TechOne) finance modules.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport an efficient and accurate month-end close.Prepare timely and insightful financial reports, dashboards, and analysis to support decision-making.Partner with managers and budget holders to provide clear financial advice and support.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting and system efficiency.Maintain and configure financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Collaborate with vendors (e.g. TechOne) and internal teams on system upgrades and enhancements.Provide training and support to TechOne users, building capability across the organisation.Analyse variances and trends, delivering actionable insights for better business outcomes.About YouYou'll bring both accounting expertise and a passion for improving systems and processes.

You'll be comfortable working across finance, IT, and operations — solving problems, finding efficiencies, and helping others get the most out of the finance system.You'll haveA tertiary qualification in accounting and CA or CPA membership.Proven experience in financial and management reporting, including month-end processes.Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.Demonstrated experience improving finance processes and system automation.Hands-on experience with TechnologyOne (Finance modules).
