This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position.
The role is responsible for providing day to day financial, operational and administrative support to deliver to a consistently high standard across key financial activities within the Capital Investments team.
The role workload management will be overseen by the Finance Manager for National Programmes, and will also have a dotted line to the Finance Hub team Leader.
This role will be dedicated to support the National Programmes Delivery teams and will play a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the Ministry's ability to deliver property projects on time and within budget.
Tasks will be varied, but include processing orders, invoices, credit notes, journals, project budget allocation, budget reconciliations, managing a shared mailbox, and other associated finance tasks that support the busy Property Delivery Programmes.
The successful applicant will be action-orientated and customer-focused with excellent time management and communication skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team is vital.
Salary range : $60,879 - $72,999 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

This team plays a critical role in supporting the capital delivery of school property projects.
This team partners with the delivery teams from project inception through to completion, providing financial insights, analysis, and advice at every stage.
By ensuring strong financial oversight and alignment with strategic objectives, the Capital Investments Team helps drive successful outcomes and deliver value across the school property portfolio.
This team provides a critical 'back office' support that enables the 'front office' to focus on the delivery of significant infrastructure programmes.
