Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) skilled Electronic Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment and systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and test electronic e quipment and systems to diagnose faults.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on electronic devices and components.
- Maintain and service electronic equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Reassemble, test, and calibrate equipment after repairs or installations.
- Provide guidance to users on proper operating procedures to minimize malfunctions.
- Install and configure electronic equipment and systems according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues.
- Apply knowledge of electrical and electronic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems.
Skills & Qualifications
A relevant level 4 qualification, or at least three years of relevant experience.Strong understanding of electrical and electronic system s.Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.Good communication skills for advising users and collaborating with team members.What We Offer
