Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) skilled Electronic Equipment Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment and systems.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine and test electronic equipment and systems to diagnose faults.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on electronic devices and components.
  • Maintain and service electronic equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Reassemble, test, and calibrate equipment after repairs or installations.
  • Provide guidance to users on proper operating procedures to minimize malfunctions.
  • Install and configure electronic equipment and systems according to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues.
  • Apply knowledge of electrical and electronic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A relevant level 4 qualification, or at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills for advising users and collaborating with team members.
