Overview

Project Engineer - Auckland Airport – Domestic Jet Terminal Airfield Works. McConnell Dowell is seeking a Project Engineer with energy and drive to join the Auckland Airport project team. The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and controlling engineering works through technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Managers and Superintendents on engineering matters, temporary works, scheduling and project status.
• Control fabrication and field construction engineering and schedules within the overall program.
• Monitor and coordinate preparation, maintenance and changes of construction schedules, methods, manning charts and equipment requirements; advise on actions to prevent or improve undesirable progress trends.
• Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel.
• Provide general technical assistance to supervisory personnel.
