Overview
Fulton Hogan is a leading civil construction firm specializing in reinforced concrete infrastructure. The Precast Project Engineer will oversee manufacturing operations, manage financial performance, and lead a team based at our Ranui Yard in Auckland.
Responsibilities
- Manage the teams and sub‑contractors within your area and coordinate with other teams to ensure optimisation of resources and efficiency
- Management & monitoring expenses and revenues to ensure profitability
- Manage and direct contract administration, understanding contractual requirements and expectations
- Work closely with manufacturing staff and set performance expectations to ensure staff are utilized to their full potential and productivity is maximised
- Manage associated plant and maintenance thereof
- Assist wider team with the compiling of tender information
- Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to achieve performance objectives
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback to team members
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and safety standards
- Ensure forward planning and procurement of sub‑contractors / material / plant / people to eliminate down time in the yard
- Build and manage strong relationships with clients and other key stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
