Key Skills and Attributes

Proven experience in public policy development, with a strong understanding of government processes, and the ability to deliver under pressure across the full policy cycle.

Advanced analytical and economic thinking—able to assess value-for-money, apply cost-benefit frameworks, and translate insights into credible investment advice.

Clear, concise communication skills and practical judgement—able to craft compelling written advice and engage confidently with Ministers, senior officials, and external stakeholders.
