The role will join a team responsible for designing a secondary legislation framework as part of the resource management reforms.ResponsibilitiesLead a piece of policy design work to assess how existing national direction is transferred and how to design new national direction for a new system.

This person will be working with a core team of principals and managers, so this will be a collaborative role.

A Wellington-based contractor is desirable.Key experience / QualificationsPrimary and secondary legislation (regulation) experience, with familiarity or experience in working with pieces of national direction if possible.Environmental policy backgrounds preferred.

This can be a blend of central and local government experience (central government experience is required).
