Drive Organisational and Culture Change at FMG
FMG, New Zealand's leading rural insurer, is seeking a Change Manager – People and Culture / Marketing and Propositions to champion and embed change that goes beyond processes—impacting the very heart of how we work and who we are.
The Role
As Change Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling and embedding organisational and culture change.
Your focus will be initiatives that emerge from either the People & Culture, or the Marketing & Propositions team.
You'll work closely with leaders to prepare, execute, and support change initiatives that focus on the people side of transformation—ensuring that new ways of working are adopted and sustained.
As part of a federated change management model, you will also work closely with FMG's Change Collaboration Group (CCG), facilitated by the Head of Enterprise Change Management, to maintain consistency, support knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement in our change practice.

Proven experience leading organisational and culture change—not just project or process change, but initiatives that shift mindsets, behaviours, and the overall culture of a business unit or organisation.
Ability to influence and inspire at all levels, building buy-in and engagement for change.
Advanced skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship building.
Experience working collaboratively to build change capability and agility within teams and across the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Champion and model FMG's values, fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and pride.
Lead and support organisational and culture change initiatives, working with other Change Managers, Mutual Leaders and the Change Collaboration Group (CCG).
Build and maintain a comprehensive view of change impacts on employees and clients, ensuring that change is understood, embraced, and embedded.
Develop and deliver change management and communication plans that address both operational and cultural aspects of transformation.
Support the creation of frameworks and learning opportunities to build change leadership and agility.
About You
At least five years' experience in Change Management, with a strong track record in organisational and culture change.
Deep understanding of the project and product lifecycles and how change impacts people at every stage.
An understanding of behavioural concepts (such as Behavioural Economics) would be advantageous, but not essential.
