Basing in a close-knit team of Social Work and Care Services Professionals, you will apply your expertise across multiple units from health, corporate services to social services and education. We adopt a kaimahi (employee) centred approach for all H&S matters.

About the role

The Senior Social Worker is responsible for …

• Ensuring all whanau that we work with are the centre of any intervention.
• Taking a leadership role working collaboratively with our partners to achieve better outcomes for mokopuna, tamariki, rangatahi, and whanau.
• Advocating for best outcomes.
• Establishing professional relationships with Oranga Tamariki, external agencies, and internal Te Runanga o Toa Rangatira staff.
• Sharing your skills and experience to build capability and capacity for your team.
• Contributing to coaching and mentoring fellow colleagues.

About you
