Submission Lead

Brian Perry Civil (BPC) have an exciting opportunity for a Submission Lead to join our Central Region team based in Hamilton.

You’ll be part of a talented team, guiding the development of compelling tender submissions that secure major infrastructure projects. From strategy to delivery, you’ll craft compelling, client-focused proposals, collaborate across teams, and bring together fresh thinking to every bid. Your leadership will shape a high-performing, innovative submissions function that’s always one step ahead.

What you’ll bring to the role :

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Business Management, or Project Management, along with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry or similar.
• Prior experience in tender submissions, project coordination, bid writing, procurement, tendering roles or similar.
• Clear and persuasive writing skills that align with evaluation criteria.
• Expertise in developing and managing writing plans and timelines.
• Proficiency in tracking progress and ensuring timely contributions from all team members, using tools and trackers to manage the bid.
• Collaboration skills to work closely with SMEs, estimators, designers, and engineers, facilitating team collaboration.
• Rapport-building and expectation management across diverse teams.
• Insight into what evaluators are looking for, while highlighting unique selling points.
• Ensuring responses align with client priorities and tender specifications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
